Senior IT Support Engineer

As a part of our IT team you will

  • Analyse client environments and recommend enhancements according to best practices
  • Improve day-to-day work by automating processes and workflows using self-developed scripts as well as reviewing team’s current processes and recommending changes
  • Perform software upgrades as well as configure customer-specific software
  • Take part in planning and implementation of company’s internal software and hardware solutions
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure the highest quality of new and existing processes
  • Provide technical support for end users including server administration (Windows and Linux server systems), user management (Active Directory and Cloud services) and installation and configuration of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS, and Linux-based systems
  • Investigate and solve incidents and potential threats in used systems such as Jira, Jenkins, Confluence, Azure, Bitbucket
  • Encourage and support internal knowledge sharing among all IT team members
     

We are looking for

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in resolution of workstation and server software and hardware issues as well as networking and peripherals
  • Experience in working with Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and Windows servers and knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Very good scripting skills in Bash/Powershell/Python or other scripting language
  • Technical and troubleshooting skills as well as very good infrastructure knowledge of 1st and 2nd level IT support
  • Proactiveness in delivering the highest quality of IT service to the customer 
  • Strong knowledge of IT service management principles
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize
  • Very good English skills (min. B2)
 

It would be a plus if you have

  • Prior experience with REST API
  • Working experience with Jira
  • Previous experience with ITIL/Agile methodology
