Project Accountant

As a part of our global Finance Team you will

  • Review contract terms and associated information to ensure project setup generates appropriate results
  • Oversee that projects are reflected in our project management tool (Open Air) in accordance with the company policies and procedures
  • Ensure billing is correct at all times
  • Analyze and verify internal consistency, completeness and accuracy of project data, revenue and cost budgets / forecasts
  • Monitor project balances on Accounts Receivable, Work in Progress and Accrued/Deferred accounts
  • Monitor cash collection
  • Provide month-end reporting on project performance including revenue, gross margin and variances to baseline
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments and clients to resolve cross-functional items
  • Meet weekly, monthly and quarterly deadlines as outlined in company policies and best practices
  • Ensure all internal financial procedures are adhered to
  • Participate in internal and external audits 
 

This is a perfect opportunity if you

  • Have at least three years of professional experience in accounting in an international company
  • Have had the opportunity to work with contracts and/or finance procedures 
  • Use business English at an excellent level (C1/C2)
  • Have experience in collaboration with different roles in the business - Business Analysts, Project Managers, PMO experts
  • Have excellent knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word) and experience in using an accounting system
  • Are a dynamic, well-organized person who loves asking business-oriented questions
