PR & Communications Manager

The opportunity  

We are seeking an ambitious PR and Communications Manager to support our Director of Marketing and the team in creating, supporting and delivering the internal and external marketing strategy for the business.  
The candidate will be a creative thinker who is driven, enthusiastic and a great team player; helping manage PR and content marketing, internal and external communications, events and campaigns, and be a guardian of the Cognifide brand. 

Responsibilities include


  • Working with our PR agency to maximise media coverage 
  • Taking ownership of managing ‘always-on newsroom’ and being able to work confidently to turn opportunities around quickly  
  • Managing our thought-leaders and experts and planning output  
  • Helping to manage the execution of big campaigns, monitoring PR campaigns and newsroom  

Content management  

  • Learning how to use Sitecore as a content management system  
  • Maintaining our website and managing all updates 
  • Managing content taxonomy and tagging  
  • Developing and managing a digital asset repository  
  • Displaying/developing a solid knowledge of SEO best practices  

Network comms 

  • Executing our comms, education and enablement strategy into the network  
  • Being confident in presenting what we do to other OpCos  
  • Building a network of contacts  

Internal comms  

  • Helping to manage all internal comms including, monthly newsletter, townhalls, broadcasts etc.  
  • Helping to manage internal events  
  • Using our internal comms tools  
  • Proofreading  

Brand guardianship/employer branding 

  • Working with HR on cultural initiatives
  • Maintaining correct branding on partner, recruitment, and industry websites, including descriptions, images, biographies, etc.
  • Working on employer branding initiatives 
  • Using Facebook & Instagram to build our employee brand 
  • Supporting our CSR efforts and sensitively amplify them as an employer branding mechanism  


  • Content curation for client events  
  • Managing the content for events from agenda to speaker support materials  
  • Working with other OpCos on joint events  

What we’re looking for  

  • A well-rounded team player with strong relationship and team building skills  
  • Around 2-3 years of direct or transferrable experience  
  • Confident interacting with people at all levels of the business  
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and oral  
  • A creative thinker  
  • Goal-oriented, with excellent attention to detail  
  • Some PR/comms experience  
  • Knowledge of specific technologies eg. Content management system, social media dashboard, email platform (useful but not necessary)
