Cognifide frees brands and organisations to deliver the world's best customer experiences. We're part of the WPP network and we've been developing web applications based on the CMS systems, Adobe Experience Manager and the Sitecore Experience Platform since 2005. We work for well known brands, such as Ford, Unilever, GSK, Colgate-Palmolive and EY.

We work as agile teams and create our own products, including Zen Garden, our site development accelerator and authoring tool and other, open-source tools such as Knot.x, Bobcat and AET.

Our Service Operations team supports the solutions that we deliver to clients so they can maximise the business value. Keeping our finger on the pulse is our day-to-day work. We track, analyze and improve. Would you like to join us?

Operations Support Engineer

As a part of the Service Operations team you will

  • Provide outstanding support service for system key users and IT professionals
  • Gain experience with CMS systems administration - Adobe Experience Manager and Sitecore
  • Investigate and solve incidents and potential threats on the application and infrastructure level
  • Monitor multi-technology computing platforms, interfaces and servers
  • Work in a multi-system (Windows, Linux, iOS) and multi-cloud (AWS, AZURE) environment
  • Set up, maintain and troubleshoot customer applications
  • Deliver high quality remote product training and speciality services to customers
  • Work as an integral part of an open-minded team collaborating with internal projects and developer teams

We expect you to

  • Have application troubleshooting experience including Windows and Linux OS
  • Have a technological mindset and technical background knowledge
  • Think outside of the box to find the best available solutions to technical issues
  • Be able to acquire necessary technical knowledge on your own
  • Read and follow advanced technical manuals
  • Have very good interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help people as well as finding personal satisfaction in providing support
  • Have excellent English skills (min. C1)

It would be a plus if you have

  • Experience with at least one of the following: Python/Powershell/Bash
  • Prior experience with Content Management Systems
  • Working experience with Windows and Linux server solutions
  • Degree in Computer Science or other technical area
  • Previous experience with Agile methodologies
  • Prior experience with software systems and/or testing web applications (programming skills are not required)
