IT Engineer (Applications Services)

As a part of our IT team, you will

  • Join the application stream that manages and maintains applications which support the work of our company and development teams
  • Manage Windows and Linux server systems
  • Service monitoring systems and respond to incidents (Zabbix, Grafana)
  • Assure availability of application stack that supports software development (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Nexus, Confluence) in our projects for international clients
  • Create and maintain automation scripts (Python/Bash/Powershell)
  • Implement and develop cloud-based services (AWS/Azure) and apps supporting virtualization - HyperV (SCVMM), Xen
  • Manage databases (MySQL, MSSQL)
  • Investigate and solve incidents and potential threats on the applications level
  • Use your expertise and insights to implement continuous delivery improvements
 

Currently, in our projects we deal with

  • Web servers performance optimization (Apache/Nginx)
  • Maintenance, development, and integration with Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • Systems’ integration and migration to the cloud
  • Internal solutions automation using Chef software
  • Virtualization infrastructure improvements
 

We expect you to bring

  • Experience in server systems administration (Windows, Linux)
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux (Debian, CentOS, RedHat)
  • Advanced scripting skills (Bash/Powershell/Python) and database management
  • Experience in the maintenance of services such as DNS, DHCP, SMTP
  • Good working knowledge of Atlassian tools and Active Directory/LDAP
  • Advanced English and Polish skills (minimum B2)
  • Experience in working as a part of a project team would be a plus
