Information Security Specialist

As an Information Security Specialist you will:

  • Monitor, analyze, and interpret logs for events, operational irregularities, and potential incidents and escalating issues as appropriate
  • Analyze suspicious emails, phishing attempts, and other potential security incidents to determine false positives or needs for escalation
  • Assist with implementation of countermeasures for mitigating controls
  • Security tools such as anti-virus, endpoint protection, network analysis, and software discovery
  • System audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Document configuration standards and procedures
  • Look to improve our information security management
  • Work with client teams and internal corporate teams
  • Ensure and audit compliance with internal and external security standards
 

We expect you to bring

  • 2 years of experience in the field of information security or similar
  • Familiarity with various security standards, ISO27000 series or PCI-DSS or similar
  • Good understanding of Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS operating systems
  • Fundamental understanding of computer network 
  • Experience in working with raw data with log parsing tools
  • Building management reporting skills
  • Curiosity, inquisitivity, and insightfulness 
  • Willingness to develop audit and security skills 
     

It would be a plus if you have

  • Certificates and / or knowledge about standards like ITIL, COBIT, CISSP, OWASP or any other related to security and internal audit
