Business Development Executive

The opportunity

As a Business Development Executive, you will be support the sales team to uncover and qualify leads through effective networking of our sales channels and working with Cognifide’s prospect customers; to understand their digital requirements and demonstrate how the Cognifide service offering meets their needs best. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, this is an excellent opportunity for a personable and outgoing sales person to earn competitive compensation in a fun, profitable, fast-growing marketing technology organisation working with some of the world’s best-known companies.

Our Team & Objectives 

Our business development uses a largely team-based approach, drawing on the respective strengths of each of our business areas - such as business analysis, architecture and design, consultancy and technology. Meaning the business development team works closely with the company as a whole – including the board, to remove uncertainty and risk, while raising the standard of thinking and delivery above our competitors. New opportunities are also constantly delivered from our existing clients and marketing campaigns.

  • Align key resources to identify and close new opportunities identified through our partner network to increase revenue for Cognifide
  • Identify & manage key stakeholders
  • Define the execution approach, communicating the approach to both the client and the internal Cognifide disciplines as well as providing oversight of business development activities.

Responsibilities

The Business Development Executive is required to support the Sales team in a number of activities, including:

  • Meet defined revenue targets from direct sales and partner channels
  • Create, grow and maintain a successful network of revenue generating partners and deepen penetration across Cognifide’s target market
  • Generate leads through the Cognifide network and through effective lead qualification and sales acumen, convert these into Cognifide revenue
  • Engage with partners and internal client teams to provide additional sales support

Competencies 

  • Ability to take qualified leads and work with prospect customers to understand their requirements and demonstrate that various services and products meet their needs
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets through success in pitching, selling and responding to RFPs in a consultative B2B sales process
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities under tight time constraints in an effective manner
