Unconference is knowledge sharing at its best; a fabulously inclusive, democratic and collaborative afternoon of peer-to-peer learning. It offers marketing technology professionals the opportunity to meet in an informal, dress-down setting and share their experiences, pain, frustration and, of course, successes. There are no 'speakers' as such, instead there are conversation leaders who, armed with an easel, Post-its and pens, will lead discussions around various crowd-sourced topics. Powerpoint is strictly banned and participation is strongly encouraged.
Guests are our clients, partners and industry chums. It's a super friendly environment and you're bound to strike up new conversations and friendships. This year we have a collection of technologists and marketers, from platform owners to content strategists. Companies include Ford, Unilever, Google, Vodafone, Penguin Random House, Coutts, Telegraph Media Group, HSBC, RBS, EY and Pioneer DJ.
Every guest has the chance to steer the conversation by proposing topics up front or simply by making their voice heard on the day.
You choose! We'll be sourcing topics from registrants and will try to include as many of your proposed topics as we can fit into the afternoon. Last year, these included broad and unsolvable questions such as, 'are websites dying' and 'is a university education still relevant in a digital world'; to issues much closer to home, 'what is the true cost of personalisation' and 'how can we move from supplier-based relationships to become true partners'.
It's not often you get to debate with the industry's finest! We have conversation leaders confirmed from Telegraph Media Group, Google, Coutts, Money Saving Expert, Pioneer DJ and Endava. They'll steer the debate but everyone's voice will be heard.
