Integration of Test & Target with CQ prior to Adobe acquisitions
The Problem
Basically, the two systems didn’t talk to each other as they obviously belonged to different companies - Day and Omniture. If a marketer wished to do any testing, he couldn’t really do it on his CMS and had to resort to using plain HTML pages for the tests which defeated the purpose of using a CMS.
What we did
We devised a component on CQ that effectively allowed you to insert an mbox (Omniture T&T container) on a page that the client could construct using CQ so effectively reducing the time to set up a test and gain some valuable insights from the target audience segments.
