Last week Sitecore announced the results of their MVP Awards for 2016 and we’re delighted to give our colleague, Adam Najmanowicz, a huge pat on the back for being nominated for the fifth year running as a Technology MVP.

Adam said of his win: "Sitecore have managed to build the most amazing community around the product they provide. While the software itself is technically excellent, it's the amazing people in the Sitecore team and community that make it an absolute delight to work with. I am humbled and excited to be able to work with you all and honoured to be recognized as part of this esteemed group."

The MVP’s, or Most Valuable Professional Awards, are highly regarded accolades given to Sitecore experts who actively participate in knowledge sharing communities with other Sitecore partners and customers.  Click on the MVP logo to read more about these awards from Sitecore themselves.

MVP-2016

Adam is a passionate Sitecore advocate and community member who has headed up the .NET Practice at Cognifide for 8 years.   He is currently championing the development of Sitecore PowerShell Extensions, or SPE, an open source Sitecore development accelerator that can dramatically increase productivity and save time when delivering a Sitecore solution.

In fact, it’s the only non-Sitecore module recommended within the top 5 on Sitecore’s MarketplaceIt’s listed at number 3 currently and represents a paradigm shift for the platform, providing a separate environment for writing functionality.

You can read more about it on Gitbook, access it through GitHub or hear more about it from Adam directly on his own blog.

In the meantime, hats off to you, Adam – another great year!
