Cognifide has offices in both London, UK, and Poznań, Poland. A typical project will involve a combination of consultancy and project management delivered from the UK, primarily on-site with the customer, and a Poland-based team responsible for architecture, programming, testing and delivery. The wider team will normally involve members of the client organisation, who will be involved throughout each project to provide feedback and to help guide and prioritise the project as it develops.
We also work with various partner organisations who offer additional services as required, such as hosting, user interface design, usability testing and user experience consultancy.
We work with a number of different engagement models according to how much flexibility is required by the client and what the key business drivers are. Fixed price, fixed timescale engagements work well where timescales and budgets are critical, say for a quarter-end launch of a new website, while for ongoing product development retained teams can guarantee continuity, offer lower costs and give more flexibility to deal with change.
