As part of a series of group installation events for Microsofts new Visual Studio .NET, Poznań .NET users group will be hosting an event in Poznań on the 25th February 2008. The series has attracted interest from some of the well know Microsoft evangalists such as Chris Koenig.

"User groups all over Poland have been holding such events in Krakow, Wrocław, Gdank, Lublin and now in Poznań. Over the last couple of years I have seen the .NET development community growing in Poland, which was a traditional java stronghold, I think as the Microsoft development platform grows in strength dropping the legacy of VB and starts to make it onto the course material in the Universities.
