Hello Gu!

I feel very lucky to be able to work here in Cognifide with all the skilled and extremely passionate nerds! I’ve really realized that last week. Let me explain. Cognifide is a host for most Poznan developer user groups. We host PGDotNet – local .Net User Group, JUG (Java User Group), PTAQ (Poznań Testing and Quality Group) and meet.js (JavaScript user group), we also happen to stay after work to watch some conferences, and what made me think of how lucky we are was at the last event like that.

The conference started with Scot Gu’s presentation on Azure’s new additions and opportunities. We kept trying the URLs Scott was using to verify that it’s truly live and working til we finally managed to get a slot to put our own imprint on it… (around 1:13 into the presentation)

We weren’t first, but… you should have seen the reaction!

We were ecstatic! I wish someone was filming it, but you could easily approximate it from the following video… our little Big Bang Theory moment!

That evening I really felt I was in the right place with the right people…
